Our Man in Beijing was established in early 2007 with the aim of encouraging and fostering foreign interaction in China.  

By acting as a stepping stone and providing a trusted point of contact for business and traveler alike our China knowledge has helped our clients to gain a clearer understanding of the realities of working or visiting China. 

The founders, as expats themselves, having spent many years living in and learning the business and social customs of China came to realise that many consultation and service companies were not providing enough cohesion in their services or clarity in understanding the complexities of China.

Our Man in Beijing was established to provide an effective ‘full service’ company that understands both sides of the 'cultural coin', with the aim of reducing the ‘grey areas’ in understanding China.  

The Our Man in Beijing organisation utilizes a number of expat professionals and companies, all with solid experience of China and an excellent understanding of Chinese culture and language.
